I am mostly a writer but I’ve found myself having a love affair with photography. I live in Austin, Texas with my son River Malakai. My writing has been published in various magazines including HipMama, Mamazine, Motherverse, Literary Mama, Midwifery Today and the forthcoming anthology Mother Birth.

My short prose piece “20 Hours of Back Labor” appears in issue #38 of Hip Mama Magazine (fall 2007)
